Welcome to Christmas at the Miller's FAQ's Page
What time does the light show start and stop?
Our light show times are:
Sunday through Thursday 5:30pm till 10:00pm
Friday and Saturday 5:30pm till 11:00pm
Weather permitting
Why do you do it?
This is a hard question to answer since there are so many different
reasons why we do our display but I would have to say that the top two
reasons are first and foremost to celebrate
the birth of Jesus Christ and second to put a smile on a child face
and/or joy in someone's heart.
How much is your electric bill?
Our display is for the most part energy efficient by that I mean we use
compact fluorescent bulbs and LED's to light our display. Which helps
save on energy costs. Our electric bill for the month of December only
goes up about forty to fifty dollars.
How long does it take to set up the display?
This year with the addition of all the new stuff it took four long weekends.
What is Toys for Tots?
The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to
collect new, unwrapped toys during the months of October, November and
December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to
needy children in the community in the which the campaign is conducted.
